Terry is a London Taxi driver. He purchased a villa in Orlando, and created a web site in the hope of attracting renters. However, he was faced with a problem: how do people know your web site is out there? Terry knew that being at the bottom of a search engine would not solve this problem. So he thought about advertising his web site address on the side of his Taxi. However, he could not justify the cost of the advert. 

Paul had recently completed an MSc in business studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He and Terry began to discuss the problems of promoting a villa web site. They realised that the issues associated with web site exposure must be common to most villa owners, and so grabAvilla was founded. 

grabAvilla Ltd is now a private limited company, which was registered in the UK in August 2001. Terry and Paul are its only directors, and manage the company alongside their full-time jobs. No wages are taken. Those that join grabAvilla pay a fee which is spent on advertising the grabAvilla site. By linking directly to each villa owner's web site, individuals like Terry now have a better chance of getting their property  noticed.
